In the religious meaning, Michael stands for a militant archangel that was born 1921, and is that protector of the Jewish people. The figure on the top left corner represents what people view me as from my name because they always have to relate it to religion. The rest of the figure’s on my montage portray what I view myself as. I chose Megaman Zero as something that represents me because I grew up with these kind of cartoons as well as the games that I still love to play until this day. Ronaldinho, who plays for Club Barcelona in Spain represents my role model that makes me dream and hope of becoming a professional soccer player at the age of 18. The Mexican background and the soccer jersey represent my Latino pride as well as another dream of being able to play for Mexico at the National level. Like most people of this day, music is the center of my life. Music represents many things for me because it can relief stress, make you go to sleep, be a wake up call, and even just a hobby. Finally, the Eastside College Prep logo represents the big importance that academics plays in my life because I’ll need the best grades possible to get into the best school with a good soccer team to have a better chance of becoming a professional soccer player since your grades count for everything.

What represents me and my community is how diverse we can be. Some people like to stick to a certain sport, while others like myself play and love more then one sport. I love to play basketball, football, volleyball, and above all soccer. At school, I play on the varsity volleyball, basketball, and soccer team. My goal as well as my dream is to be able to play professional soccer by the age of 18. The video I added is of a Barcelona player named Messi, my role model , because he has proven himself to the people that dreams can come true no matter what the odds against you are. Hoping to become a professional soccer player, academics play a big role in my life because I need to get the best grades possible to go to a good university with a good soccer team. The pictures of the Golden State Warriors and the San Francisco 49ers represent the teams that mostly everyone in my community are fans for.

Media is one of the most if not the most effective things that people consume nowadays because everything is done electronically. People use yahoo to check their email, and chat with people like Enrique Escalante. I, for example, use the Internet for sport highlights for games missed like the NFL, NBA, and Eurosport for all of my favorite teams. I also use audio media such as music for my ipod, and videos on youtube. Buying things can also be done through media nowadays such as buying groceries, to buying soccer accessories for teams. It not only has to be used for entertainment, but also for learning such as the College Board or schools. Media is used in everyday life making it important because this is the way people most likely will communicate to you.
