Me and My Daddy

July 30th, 2007

                                                                                                                                                     me-and-daddy.JPG

This is a montage that I created of me and my father. It shows how close we are and how close we have become over the years. I thought it would be funny to put some pictures from when I was younger on there as well just show the growth in our relationship. I love my daddy and I wouldn’t trade him in for anyone else in the world! He has been a true blessing in my life and it is a true blessing that he has been apart of my life!

Photo Manipulation Example

July 26th, 2007

I picked this image because i think it shows some effort and skill in photo manipulation. As you can probably tell, there’s three different pictures that are together: the guy, who is my brother, the eagle and the circle.

A community is a group of people who have a common interest.

Our class blog is a community because we all contribute to it and respond to each other’s work.

Assignment Five

July 26th, 2007

For my fifth assignment, I am going to alter my “What’s in a Name” assignment. I feel as if the montage does a good job of desribing me, but the text and explanation of my montage is not thorough enough and is not necessarily reflective of the montage’s information.

Assignment #5

July 26th, 2007

For my last assignment, I will work on my “What’s in a Name” montage, because it has everything about me and the place where my family came from, such as Spain. I also showed some pictures of where I was born and where my parents grew up in. I also would like to add where my grandmother (R.I.P Soledad Cervantes Lopez) lived in, before leaving me last week. Even though she left me, she will always be in my heart.

How to make a Montage Outline

July 18th, 2007

HOW TO MAKE A MONTAGE

I. A montage….what is a montage, what can you learn from a montage, and how

do you make a montage?

II. What is a montage? A montage is almost like a collage; except you don’t get glue on your fingers and that the collage is on the computer.

III. What can you learn from a montage? You can do many things with a montage, like put things to demonstrate your thought and even tell a story. They’re also can be seen as a collage.

IV. How do you make a montage? There are many different things that you have to learn when you do a montage, such as cutting, pasting, erasing, text, scaling, and even fadedness.

V. This is how a montage is meant, shown, and made.

What people know about me and what people don’t know about me.

July 15th, 2007

DannySparks
I named this post what you now about me, and what you don’t know about me. Sometimes people tend to judge people by their names. In this post you might learn some new things about me, and some of this things you might have gusted or already now about me.

You might know black is my favorite color by looking at my background. I like black because it goes with everything and it also brings out other colors. You might of gusted I liked money because the tree of money is the biggest object on the picture I put together. I used this picture of a money tree and the chest with gold, because my mom always tells me “we don’t live under a money tree,” every time I ask here for money. On day I would love to have lots of money but not a money tree, because there are other people out in the world need money more then me.

What you might not now about me is that I like lions. A lion head is at the top of the tree. Lions are my favorite animals because there are the “king of the Jungle.” Beside that, when lions or somewhat young when there are kick out of the “pride.” It a tough world and only the strong survive and I feel this is how the world works. In the middle of the tree are purple sparks. The sparks are special to me because Sparks is my last name. Most of my friends call me Sparks instead of Danny. The car in front of the sparks is my future car. The car is a 2007 Lamborghini, and it goes from 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and on day I would have this car. Under the car there is an Elite Xbox 360. It is special to because when I am not with my friends I at home play Madden, or listening to music. To the left of the Xbox is a basketball coming out of the house. Basketball is my favorite sport and I have played basketball since I was in the forth grade. When I was young I used to play basketball in the house, and my mom always throw the ball outside. To the right of the Xbox there is a football. I recently started playing football about three years ago in high school. I play football with my friends at school, and a lot on my video game system. The house I got under the tree symbolizes the house of my dreams. I on day want to buy a house with lots of trees around it because I like the shade.

The D, that is on the left lower side of the screen stands for Danny. The S on the lower right side stands for Sparks.

Second Life Avatar

July 13th, 2007

me_0021.bmp
My class and I were working on a program called Second Life and we had to create an avatar based on our characteristics. We were given 3600 seconds to complete this task and to make it look like us as much as possible. Unfortunately, this task was hard for me due to the fact that I could not get my exact body size measurements and characteristics. The task that was the most difficult to me was getting the face to look like mine because I could not tell which nose was fit for me , and I could not get the shape of my face. But the easiest part of this project was choosing the clothes for my avatar because they were made already and the only thing I had to do was click which one I wanted. I have been playing around with Second Life for a while now and I have found new attributes to this site. For example, my avatar can fly, ride cars, talk with other people, play games, and it can even switch from one place to another. There are many places in this site like the beach, and the casino. Overall, Second Life is a pretty fun site, and I would really recommend everyone to get a Second Life account at the Second Life.com.
