Technical Department

applications-graphics.png Description

The Technical Department is responsible for functionality of the game. In the Design Document, they’re responsible for the game mechanics (Chapter 2). This includes descriptions of how the game functions, how much money items cost, who/what is being controlled, how the gravity functions, how fast do objects move, how do the points calculate and much more. The Technical department is also responsible for menu and interface systems (Chapter 3). Once these primary systems have been outlined and explained in the design document, the Technical Department will begin working on the prototype, programming in Flash’s Actionscript language.

This department page will house explanations of the game mechanic to be placed in the design document and beta copies of the prototype. It serves as a staging area and to-do list.
