Music has definitely changed my personality. I remember being 4 years old and

hearing KOIT on the radio and my dad talking about the Temptations. My first

Television memory is watching the Simpsons. Video and audio are the two types

of media that have influenced my life. I usually record my voice and use podcasts

to transmit my audio. I use a camera to take that mean something and create

videos that can change a life. I think these medias are able to change minds and

move mountains. All media is world wide. Since it is worldwide it is easy to share

videos and audio through different means. By using these types of media I will be

able to touch lives and change minds.

Hearing about this assignment got me interested in it fast. I like the idea of how I can make pictures represent my name in different ways. Let me explain a few of the pictures above.

The little girl is my sister and she happened to give me my name. She died before I was conceived so the fact that she predicted me being born seems like a miracle to me.

The waterfall picture was taken in the philippines. I think it puts philippines in a brighter light rather than focusing on its darker side.

I needed to put it in there because I was born in the Philippines its a part of who I am.

The mic represents a song called " One Mic: by Nas which is an American Hip Hop artist. After hearing the song I felt that I should start writing lyrics too.

The crosses represents my religion. I'm Catholic.

The sports are pretty straight forward football picture is the picture of "The Catch" a legendary football play. While scarmbling Joe Montana passed the ball to a leaping Dwight Clark.

The NBA logo is also put up their because basketball is my other favorite sport. If I'm not throwing a football around, I'm probably shooting the basketball.

What's a word

For this lab we were suppose to make our own word presentations that Trevor picked for us. My word was ethnic. When we first heard about this project. I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to do it since it looked difficult. The packets that Trevor and Simon passed out were helpful in doing this porject. When I forgot something, all I needed to do was look back the packets. I learned things about the word ethnic that I never would've thought. Originally I thought that the word ethnic came from latin roots. I was wrong. Enjoy.
