Hello everyone that is reading this at the moment. My name is Orion Macario, i am going to be a senior in the fall at John O' Connell High School Technology. i have been attending SMASH for the past three summers learning things that will perpare me for the next year. There are many forms of media that people are constantly exposed too. I am always exposed to the five different types of media, video, internet, audio, print, and images. I have been exposed to most on these different media all my life, but the internet was the last thing i got into. I think that many of these media in particular are effective in life becasue they are all forms of different communication. Many of these types of media are helpful to recive information. i have been using many different types of media this year. i have spent most of my time on the intertnet, places like myspace, yahoo mail, and google for research. Recently i have been in podcasting with Mini, the name of our website is www.smashcast.org. i also have been intreseted with audio, music. i go to itunes or other places for music. i have been infacinated with images, mostly the ones on the T.V. i have been watching Comedy Central and MTV. i also use graffit creator to mess around when i have the time. its a place that i can do graffiti. i been intreasted with these different types of media because i like how everuthing is put together inorder to make just one thing.

Assignment Two - Montage: What's In A Name?  my first reaction to this assignment was that it was going to be easy beacuse i learned how to use photoshop before in my highschool. i learned many thngs in the tutorial that the instructors gave us. i think that this is a fun activitie that people can learn from and teach others. this program can used for many different reasons. you can use it to express youslef or use it as an advertisement for any company. my experience doing this assignment was fun because i put anything that i like and that i feel expresses myslf and my interests. the way that i sovled the problems that i had in doing this project was asking for help from anyone student to teacher. i choosed this way because it was earier incase that i messed up i wouldnt start all over. |
